The Verano V642 Tumba is more than an awning; it is a Red Dot Design Award winner from 2020. It is a beautiful solution for using your patio more often and transforms your patio into a fully-fledged outdoor living space.
Thanks to its revolutionary, patented tensioning and locking mechanism, the Tumba is designed for the Dutch climate. The water-repellent, retractable fabric offers protection against the sun and unexpected heavy downpours, while the fabric always stays taut. High wind class
The V642 Tumba has been tested and certified up to wind class 3 (wind force 6). This is made possible by the zip guidance system, the fabric locking system, and the strong fabric.
Always a tight canvas
Thanks to the patented locking mechanism, the front bar is automatically locked when the fabric is fully extended. The motor pulls the fabric, while the drop-down bar clicks into place. This guarantees a visually perfect, taut result and prevents unnecessary wear or flapping.
Waterproof
The Tumba is designed to keep your patio dry. The water-repellent fabric, in combination with integrated drainage, guarantees the discharge of no less than 50 litres of water per square metre per hour. The water is neatly drained via the side guides and uprights, without any water pockets forming in the fabric.
Widely applicable
Due to the high water discharge volume and stability, this model is well suited for both private and commercial (hospitality) use.

What is the difference between the V642 Tumba and a 'regular' articulated arm awning?
Many folding arm awnings are not waterproof. Folding arm awnings can also only be used at lower wind speeds. The Tumba is suitable for sitting under in high winds and heavy rain showers.
Is the V642 Tumba suitable for my catering terrace?
Yes, certainly. This pergola is suitable for wind forces up to 6 and is waterproof. Heaters can also be placed under this product, making your terrace usable even in winter.
Can I use the V642 Tumba when it's raining?
Absolutely. Thanks to the integrated water drainage system and the waterproof fabric, this pergola can be used well in the rain.
Can I add LED lighting or sensors to the Tumba?
Yes, to enjoy your terrace even in the evenings, the Tumba can optionally be equipped with integrated LED lighting or even with heaters.
Can I assemble this product myself?
