With a single hub, you control all your home's shading — manually with your phone, automatically based on sunlight or wind, or with your voice.
The core of the Brel system is the Hub-04: fully Matter-over-Thread certified, meaning it can be directly linked to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. No cloud detours, no vendor lock-in, no separate app for each device. Add Brel to your existing smart-home setup and it works immediately.

Which smart home systems does Brel Home work with?
The Brel Home Hub-04 is Matter-certified and connects directly with Apple Home (HomeKit), Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings. This allows you to control Brel blinds along with your lighting, thermostat, locks, and speakers — in the same scenes and automations you already use.
Do I need a separate hub for each blind?
No. One Brel Home Hub-04 operates multiple Brel motors simultaneously (roller blinds, screens, awnings, shutters — interchangeably). You simply add new motors via the Brel Matter App and they automatically appear in Apple Home, Google Home or your other smart home system.
Can I create scenes and automations with Brel?
Yes. In the Brel Matter App (and in Apple Home, Google Home or SmartThings), you can create scenes such as "Good Morning", "Movie Mode" or "Vacation". You can have blinds react to sun, wind and temperature sensors, to sunrise/sunset, to schedules or to presence via your smartphone.
Does Brel work without internet?
Yes, for local control. The Hub-04 operates via Matter-over-Thread: a local protocol that does not rely on a Brel cloud. Scenes, sensors, and voice control via Apple Home / Google Home therefore also work during internet outages. Of course, you only need an internet connection for remote control (away from home).
Can I retrofit existing (non-smart) blinds?
Often, yes. You can upgrade an existing manual roller blind, screen, or roller shutter by replacing the motor with a Brel motor. Then you add it to the Hub-04, and your old sun protection suddenly becomes part of your smart home. Ask for advice on the right motor choice for each type of sun protection.
